Mediamark publishes a book for Baillie Gifford, Scottish Mortgage: a centenary celebration, in recognition of the Investment Trust's latest milestone.
Mediamark is delighted to be able to announce that it has added Princess Cruises to its roster of clients and will produce Princess' 3 times per year magazine, Journeys, with immediate effect.
Mediamark extends its work for P&O Cruises after exemplary research findings by commissioning, writing and editing copy for P&O Cruises world cruising brochures. In addition, Mediamark art directs and syndicates P&O Cruises new brand representational imagery.
Mediamark conceives and orchestrates the inaugural Optimum Nutrition Awards for The Institute of Optimum Nutrition, presented by Amanda Hamilton and held at the Chartered Accountants' Hall in the City of London.

Mediamark is delighted to announce that it has been retained by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) to help it develop its customer publication into a new quarterly magazine, MARKETalk, created by Mediamark.

Once again, Trust magazine is Highly Commended in the AITC Annual Awards. Interestingly, more and more organisations seem to have seen the benefits of a design–led publication, some entries featuring designs that are somewhat familiar…

For the third time in three years, Trust magazine has been recognised at the Association of Investment Trust Companies’ Annual Awards, once again picking up the title of “Best Newsletter”.
What’s more, financial commentator Bill Jamieson, writing in The Scotsman newspaper, says:
“Congratulations to Baillie Gifford for one of the best magazines in the investment trust sector. There are some excellent articles on the stock market, and I particularly enjoyed the anaylsis of the changing face of the FTSE 100…”

ION
Mediamark’s new magazine, Optimum Nutrition, produced on behalf of the Institute For Optimum Nutrition (ION), goes to print this month. Previously published in–house by ION, the title is being relaunched by Mediamark and is destined to become the leading nutritional magazine in the UK. The magazine was awarded to Mediamark in Autumn 2006 without a pitch.
GSP — update
Gareth Southgate’s Proverb, the poetry book published by Mediamark at the end of 2006, is now available to buy at Amazon.com.

Mediamark has ended 2006 with a foray into book publishing, with the publication of a book of poetry by prize–winning poet, Andrew James. The work, Gareth Southgate”s Proverb, is a collection of 49 original football–related poems, illustrated by artist Ronald Hackston, and will retail at £6.99.
New client
Mediamark is delighted to be working on a new magazine, to be launched in February 2007, for a new client. This is a 52 page, quarterly magazine, published in its entirety by Mediamark, and is in the nutrition/food/health sector. Mediamark will also be working with its new client on marketing and subscription initiatives. More details to follow…

Trust has again done well in the AITC awards, achieving a commendation in the Best Information to Shareholders category.
The Pavement
Mediamark is proud to donate paper to The Pavement, a charity set up to provide news, advice and help to London’s homeless community, for its monthly 12 page newsletter.

We are proud to announce that Trust magazine, the bi–annual 28 page financial publication produced by Mediamark on behalf of our client Baillie Gifford, recently became joint winner of the Association of Investment Trust Companies’ Best Newsletter award. The judges were impressed with Baillie Gifford’s use of journalists, and commented on the overall high quality of the features.
